When you are thinking about bringing a child into your family, and infertility or child-bearing issues make it impossible to have a child of your own, adoption can be a very realistic, positive and fulfilling choice.

JFS Adoption Services can give you the information you want and the support you may need through the process of bringing a child into your home. We can help you with the confusion and uncertainty you may feel while you explore your options.

JFS Adoption Services provide:

• Information groups to learn about adoption: international, identified, private or public, and special needs children
• NJ State-mandated home study evaluations
• Post-placement supervision
• Counseling and consultation to new families, to ensure the proper "fit" between the needs of the child, parents, and the home environment
• Support groups for infertile couples, couples awaiting adoption, and for children who have been adopted
• Birthparent services
